I had already decided to make a video on the spot and write this blog.
This time, I would like to convey the state of cleaning that I could not tell you in the video. First of all, let's check the condition of the product you just bought.
Dirt on the nubuck, especially darkening on the mudguard, is noticeable. The previous owner must have taken me to many places. Fortunately, nubuck is natural leather, so you don't have to worry about it peeling off even if it deteriorates over time.
You can clean it to your heart's content.

The mudguard was particularly darkened, so after washing it carefully, I rubbed it off with the black side of the Utility Eraser .
As I mentioned earlier, since it is natural nubuck leather, it is good that it can be rubbed without worrying about peeling of the surface.
On the other hand, the surface of nubuck, which is made of artificial leather, deteriorates over time, so you really need to be careful with old models.
As for this alpha, the side panels are printed with vinyl material, so I brushed it a little gently. Regarding Swoosh's TPU, 'Why don't you remove the yellowing? I received a comment saying, "There is still some technical instability in removing the yellowing of the clear parts, and that is a problem for the future."
Regarding the removal of yellowing, rubber materials (midsole/outsole) other than clear parts can be handled firmly, so please use it.
Then, I will wash it as a whole and wipe it off.

After washing, the nubuck is wet, but you can clearly see that the dirt has been removed.

It's the big picture. I think the UNC looks a little darker, but this is not the result of editing the image to make it darker. You can see that the dullness has been removed and the bluishness has deepened. The dirt on the mudguard was removed.

Thanks to the utility of the Utility Eraser, the dark spots were removed and the dullness was removed, increasing the depth of the blue. I also removed the yellowing , so the color of the midsole has returned to white, and it looks better.
As for the shoelaces, they are complementary colors and the colors are a good match, so I thought I would try my best to make them beautiful. However, Easy Shoelaces was also released recently, and I felt that the white brings out the goodness of alpha, so I replaced it.
