Ueno used to work for a luxury brand and was only interested in leather shoes.
We asked him why he got so into sneakers and why he became a heavy KicksWrap user.

I like leather shoes → The reason I got hooked on sneakers
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
Ueno: My name is Ueno. I used to work in the apparel industry and am now a self-employed person.
I work as a delivery man for Uber Eats as a side job, and my policy is to use the extra income to buy sneakers!
- What made you become interested in sneakers?
Ueno: I've always loved leather shoes and have even had them polished, but sneakers were a complete no-no.
When I was working for a luxury brand, I was transferred to a shoe boutique. I was attracted by the freedom in sneaker designs and colors, and I immediately became obsessed.
- How many pairs of sneakers do you own?
Ueno: About 20 pairs.
What kind of sneakers did he buy with the extra income he earned from delivering for Uber?
- What are your favorite sneakers and why?
Ueno: Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 Dark Mocha.
I recently achieved 1,000 deliveries as an Uber Eats delivery person and bought this as a reward and commemoration for myself.
I've decided to buy Dior when I make my 10,000th delivery. Lol
- What is your most memorable sneaker and why?
Ueno: Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 "Dia de Muertos" Day of the Dead.
I bought them when I had just met my current girlfriend. She loves art, so when I wore them on our first date, she complimented me and we hit it off. They're a memorable pair of shoes that led to our relationship. 
I want to protect the outsole and sell it for a high price when reselling it.
- How did you discover KicksWrap?
Ueno: I searched for "sneaker care" on YouTube and found your video. I learned how to use it from SHIN's instructional video on YouTube.
- What was the first KicksWrap product you used and what made you decide to use it?
Ueno: SOLE PLUS. As my favorite shoes shifted from leather shoes and boots to sneakers, I started to worry about the dirt and wear on the outsoles, so I wondered if there was something I could stick on the outsoles of sneakers like I do with Vibram soles on leather shoes. 
- What are the good points of SOLE PLUS?
Ueno: It gives me peace of mind knowing that it perfectly protects the outsole from dirt and wear.
Another advantage is that you can peel the outsole off and sell it as new when reselling it, which I think is a big plus in terms of price.

What is your favorite KicksWrap product and why?
Ueno: I like them all, but lately I've been using Shoe Moisture Mist and KicksWrap Premium most often.
I love using Shoe Moisture Mist in conjunction with my Mouton Mitt and Utility Brush to nourish and maintain leather.
The most blissful moment is when I wrap up the sneakers after maintenance and look at them.
- Why did you choose and continue to use KicksWrap?
Ueno: I think this can be said for all KicksWrap products, but there are so many products that really hit the spot for me.
