今回、ご依頼いただいたスニーカーはZEGNAオフホワイトディアスキン。
本作は、アッパーに鹿革が使用されている一足。
とはいえ鹿革はしなやかで繊細な故、表面がはがれやすくお手入れは慎重に行う必要があります。スニーカーのダメージを確認しながら、慎重にクリーニングを進めます。

まずは、Deodorant Shoe Keeperを使って履きジワをしっかりと伸ばすことが重要です。
準備ができたら、ブラシを使った全体の埃落としとクリーナーを使った汚れ落としに移っていきます。
今回は豚毛ではなく、さらに柔らかい毛質である馬毛のUtility Blushを使いブラッシングしていきます。
ブラッシングは、アッパーの繋ぎ目と表面の埃を払い落とすイメージで。優しく擦っていきます。
ブラッシングをしたらヒアルロン酸配合のFoam Cleaner Premium(プレミアムクリーナー)を使い、優しく革の皺に沿ってクリーニングをしていきます。
所々にレザーのダメージが見受けられるほど履き込まれているので、傷の部分はなるべくブラシを当てないように行います。
ダメージのある箇所はMicrofiber Towelにプレミアムクリーナーを染み込ませ、優しく叩きます。こうすることで汚れだけを浮かせ、最小限の負担で綺麗にすることが可能です。
今回のようにシュータンにブラシが届かないタイプでも、タオルを指に巻き軽く擦ることで細かい部分も綺麗にすることができます。
最後にUtility Blushの真鍮部分を使い、ミッドソールとアウトソールを綺麗にしてクリーニングは終了。
スニーカーをよく乾燥させ、仕上げにShoe Moisture Mistを噴霧。Mouton mittで磨き上げ、表面に艶を取り戻します。
そして、クリーニングサービス特典のWaterproof SprayをかけDryers,Shoes Bag2.0を付属させたら全工程は終了です。
メンテナンスをきちんと行うことで、着用回数の多いコンディションのスニーカーも輝きを取り戻すことができます。
